Navamedic ASA, a pharmaceutical company, develops, produces, markets, and sells pharmaceuticals and related products in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, and internationally. Its product portfolio includes prescription and non-prescription pharmaceuticals, as well as medical nutrition products, medical devices, food supplements, and cosmetics. The company offers medical nutrition products for various therapeutic areas, including phenylketonuria, homocystinuria, maple syrup urine disease, tyrosinemia, methylmalonic and propionic acidemia, glutaric aciduria, isovaleric acidemia, and urea cycle disorders, as well as products for glycogen storage diseases, fat metabolism, renal, nutritional support, and ketogenic diet. In addition, it provides consumer health products consisting of non-prescription drugs and health care products for erectile dysfunction, pain, gastro-related problems, and others primarily through pharmacies and drugstores; prescription medicines covering obesity, Parkinson’s disease, urology, and cardiology; and antibiotics. It sells, markets, and distributes its products to hospitals, patients, and pharmacies. The company was formerly known as Glucomed AS and changed its name to Navamedic ASA in 2004. Navamedic ASA was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
