The company offers electro-static deionization (ESD), an electrochemical process that lowers the concentration of total dissolved solids in water; the AmmEl system for the removal of dissolved ammonia from industrial and municipal water, including wastewater, storm water, sewage effluent, and mine wastewater; the AmmEL-H2 system for green hydrogen production; NitrEL, an electrochemical water treatment process that reduces nitrate concentrations in contaminated drinking water, groundwater, and industrial process wastewater streams; AmdEl, an electrochemical system that prevents the oxidation of sulphide minerals in tailings or waste rock; and the ExtrEL system, which enhances the oxidation of sulphide minerals and the subsequent solubility of metals of economic interest. It also provides advanced water systems; and pumping systems to move water and other liquids. The company serves the military, mining, aquaculture, municipal water and wastewater treatment, oil and gas, landfill leachate, pharmaceutical, microelectronics, and boiler feedwater sectors. The company was formerly known as ENPAR Technologies Inc. and changed its name to Current Water Technologies Inc. in January 2018.
