It operates a regulated market for trading of financial instruments, such as shares and rights issued by international and Romanian entities; debt instruments, including corporate, municipality, and government bonds issued by Romanian entities and international corporate bonds; UCITs consisting of shares and fund units; structured products; and tradable UCITS, such as ETFs. It also operates AeRO market for start-ups and SMEs; and Arena trading system for trading, clearing, settlement, and registry operations for spot and futures, as well as brokerage system. In addition, it offers data vending to data vendors, professionals, and investors; post-trading services; registry services, such as maintaining and updating the register of security holders for listed companies; and central counterparty activity under authorization and implementation services. Bursa de Valori Bucuresti SA was founded in 1939 and is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania.
