Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation, together with its subsidiary, Precision Electronics Realty Corporation, manufactures, imports, and distributes electronic, electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical appliances in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. It operates through Consumer; System Solutions Group; Life Solutions; and Others segments. The Consumer segment offers audio and video products for the media and entertainment industry; and home appliances and household equipment for household consumers. Its System Solutions Group segment provides office automation equipment, such as telecommunication products, security systems, and projectors for business consumers. The Life Solutions offers lamps, ventilation fans, nano generators, and other lighting accessories for business consumers, distributors, and dealers. Its Others segment provides supermarket refrigeration products, including cold rooms, showcases, and bottle coolers for use in supermarkets and groceries; and solar panels. The company also provides other types of machinery, parts, and components; batteries; and other related products. In addition, it is involved in the realty brokerage and land leasing businesses. The company offers its products under the Panasonic brand name. The company was formerly known as Matsushita Electric Philippines Corporation and changed its name to Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation in May 2005. The company was incorporated in 1963 and is headquartered in Taytay, the Philippines. Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation is a subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation.
