PrJSC Azovstal Iron and Steel Works manufactures and sells a range of steel products worldwide. It offers commercial slabs that are used as billets for plate and coil production; rolled plates, which are used in shipbuilding, power and special engineering, bridge construction, manufacturing pipes for gas and oil pipelines, offshore constructions, and other industrial sectors; and bars and shapes, including angles, beams, and channels of various sizes, as well as special shapes for construction, transport and general machinery, and mining industry. The company also provides wide gauge, railroad, standard and narrow gauge, crane, hook flange guard, and switch point rails, as well as head and non-head hardened rails; rail fasteners–tie plates for wooden and concrete sleepers, spike, and separate fastenings, as well as joint bars for rails; grinding balls for grinding during preparation of ore and nonmetallic materials for mining and other industrial sectors; and square hot rolled billets. In addition, it offers metallurgical slag products for production of cement, mineral wool, construction of roads, and hydraulic structures, as well as for the application as abrasive materials and additives during bitumen production; by-products, including liquid argon, liquid nitrogen, etc. for various industrial applications; and krypton-xenon and neon-helium mixtures for electro technical, cosmetic, and military industries. Further, the company sells coke-oven by-products, such as coke nut, coke fines, coal-tar pitch, crude coal benzene, ammonium sulphate, and industrial gaseous sulfur.
