Raigam Wayamba Salterns PLC, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures, refines, packages, and markets salt and salt based value added products in Sri Lanka. It provides crystal and table salt; vacuum dried salt for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries; fertilizer salt for agricultural applications; agri-salt, which is used as manure for coconut, rubber, banana, and pine-apple plantations; and industrial salt that is used in the textile, paint, and tanning industries. The company offers mineral water, a by-product in the vacuum salt production, as well as industrial chemicals, such as caustic soda. It markets its products under the Raigam brand, as well as Isi, Premium, Ruchi, and PVD brand names. The company was incorporated in 2005 and is headquartered in Homagama, Sri Lanka.
