Melstacorp PLC operates as a diversified conglomerate company in Sri Lanka. It distills, manufactures, and distributes liquor products; distributes various wines and spirits; and offers fixed telecommunication, voice, data, broadband, hardware, software, and networking solutions. The company also provides general and life insurance products; and advertising agency services, including an integrated mix of strategies, creatives, and media buying. In addition, it offers information technology, business process outsourcing, contact center hosting, data processing, software development, software quality assurance, IT consulting, information and communication technology, call centers, and KPO, as well as Oracle E-business Suite implementation services; manufactures and sells printed and dyed woven fabrics for export garments industry; cultivates and processes tea and rubber; generates and sells hydro electric energy; and operates Heritance Negombo hotel. Further, the company operates and manages Melsta Hospitals Ragama, a multi-specialty general hospital; Melsta Laboratories, which provides laboratory services; and Melsta Pharmacy. Additionally, it offers real estate management, automobile servicing and logistics, tourism, maritime, and strategic investments and services. Melstacorp PLC was incorporated in 1998 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
