Voltamp Energy SAOG, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures, sells, and distributes transformers, low voltage switchgears, and panels in the Middle East and North Africa. It offers power, distribution, and specialty transformers; earthing transformers for the substations; hermetically sealed transformers for desert applications; and motor duty, step up, and generator duty transformers. The company also provides package sub-stations; transformer ring main units and feeder pillars mounted on a common skid and complete enclosures; feeder pillars per MHEW, MOD, and PDO; distribution boards, such as MCC and PCC panels, and intelligent MCCs with integrated motor control systems; and custom built panels, as well as air insulated switchgears. In addition, it offers erection, testing, commissioning, servicing, repairing, maintenance, and overhauling services for transformers and associated equipment. The company serves ministries and government bodies; private sector giants; and multinational companies in various industries, such as power and water, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, tourism, health, education, telecom, real estate, retail, etc. It also exports its products. The company was formerly known as Voltamp manufacturing Co. LLC. Voltamp Energy SAOG was founded in 1987 and is based in Rusayl, the Sultanate of Oman.
