United Commercial Bank PLC, together with its subsidiaries, provides various banking products and financial services to retail, corporate, and SME customers in Bangladesh. The company operates through Corporate Banking, SME Banking, Consumer Banking, Treasury, Investment Banking, Offshore Banking, Card and Alternate Delivery Channel, Mobile Financial Services, and Agent Banking segments. It offers deposit products, including savings, current, and resident and non-resident foreign currency deposit accounts; fixed and other deposits; and NRB savings products. The company also provides loan products, such as personal, home, and auto loans; working capital, house building, equity, developer, hire purchase, lease, transport, and work order finance, as well as guarantee, letters of credit and purchase of bills; export and import finance, industrial loans, project finance, syndicated or structured finance, wealth management, and other corporate banking loans; and debit and credit cards. In addition, it offers offshore and mobile banking, treasury, long term debt instruments, SMS and online banking, remittance, locker, hybrid financing, and loan syndication services, as well as invests in equities and other capital markets. Further, the company provides structured finance products and services, such as merger and acquisition, private equity, offshore fund management, placement agent, financial advisory, and escrow banking services. It operates a network of branches, sub-branches, ATMs/CRMs, and agent banking outlets. The company was incorporated in 1983 and is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
