RS2 p.l.c., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the development, installation, implementation, and marketing of computer software for financial institutions under the BankWORKS name. The company operates in three segments: Software (License) Solutions, Processing Solutions, and Merchant Solutions. Its BankWORKS platform offers end-to-end payment solutions, such as payment gateway, switching of payment transactions originated from point-of-sale, ATM, e-Commerce, InAPP, clearing and settlement, chargeback management integrated in the merchant portal, fraud, and risk monitoring, reporting and statement, and a sub-GL accounting and automated reconciliation that integrates with the client’s general ledger. The company is also involved in the issuing and acquiring of payment solutions directly to merchants, including terminal and PSP gateway services.; and processing of payment transactions using the software. In addition, it provides maintenance services, such as ongoing support for BankWORKS and software enhancements and upgrades, as well as other services, which include change requests. Further, the company offers digital omni/multichannel payment solutions and value-added services. It operates in Malta, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, and internationally. The company was formerly known as RS2 Software p.l.c. and changed its name to RS2 p.l.c. in August 2023. The company was founded in 1988 and is based in Mosta, Malta. RS2 p.l.c. is a subsidiary of ITM Holding Limited.
