National Refinery Limited is a Pakistan-based company that is primarily engaged in the manufacturing, production and sale of a range of petroleum products. The Company is a petroleum refining and petrochemical complex that is engaged in manufacturing and supplying a range of fuel products, lubes, BTX, asphalts and specialty products for domestic consumption and export. The Company operates through two segments: the Fuel Segment and Lube Segment. The Fuel Segment is the producer of diesel, naphtha, motor gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, jet fuels and furnace oil. The Lube segment produces multiple grades of lube base oils, bitumen, furnace oil, waxes, rubber process oil and some quantities of other fuel products. The Company’s products are marketed locally, whereas naphtha is exported. Its ongoing projects include the replacement of utility control systems with centralized distributed Control Systems. The Company’s completed project is two-stage unit revamp at the Lube-I refinery.
