LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and markets building material in Bangladesh and internationally. The company operates through Clinker & Cement and Aggregates segments. It operates a cement and aggregates manufacturing plant and grinding plants. The company also owns and operates the limestone and shale mine situated at Nongtrai and Shella area of East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya. In addition, it offers its products under the Supercrete and Holcim brand names. The company was formerly known as Lafarge Surma Cement Limited and changed its name to LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited in February 2017. The company was incorporated in 1997 and is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited is a subsidiary of Surma Holding B.V.
