Altern Energy Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the generation and supply of electricity in Pakistan. It owns, operates, and maintains 32 megawatts gas based thermal power plant located in Attock district, Punjab. The company also operates a gas-fired combined cycle thermal power plant with a gross capacity of 450 megawatts located in Khanewal district, Punjab. Altern Energy Limited was incorporated in 1995 and is based in Lahore, Pakistan. The company is a subsidiary of Del Power Private Ltd.
