Investing.com - U.S. stock futures held within a tight range during Monday's overnight trading, following a positive session among major indices, with the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq each finishing at 15-month highs.
By 6:25 PM ET (10:25 PM GMT) Dow Jones Futures were steady while S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures slipped 0.1% apiece.
Ahead in Tuesday's session, traders are bracing for corporate earnings from companies including Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC), Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), Charles Schwab Corp (NYSE:SCHW) and Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT).
Among data, retail sales, industrial production, business inventories and the NAHB housing market index will be closely monitored by market participants.
During Monday's regular trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 76.3 points or 0.2% to 34,585.4, the S&P 500 lifted 17.4 points or 0.4% to 4,522.8 and the NASDAQ Composite lifted 131.3 points or 0.9% to 14,245.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 3.809%.
