In a notable development, American social media giant Meta Platforms announced updates to Meta AI, its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, to close what it said has been a remarkable year for that segment of its business.
Indeed, Meta disclosed the updates are designed to improve various parts of its AI models. That includes user experience, image generation, increased transparency, and offering more protection to content creators in moves geared towards combating the misuse of its AI technology.
As noted in the December 6 report, the company unveiled an update tagged “imagine with Meta AI experience,” which will add invisible watermarks to all AI-generated images. Meta said the invisible watermarks will make it easier to identify authentic images and help combat the spread of dubious news on social media pages.
