Feb 16 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening 30
points higher at 6,787 on Tuesday, according to financial bookmakers.

* BHP GROUP: BHP Group BHP.AX , BHPB.L reported its best first-half
profit in seven years and declared a record interim dividend, as top metals user
China's strong appetite for iron ore to support its infrastructure push kept
prices elevated. * ASTRAZENECA: The World Health Organization on Monday listed AstraZeneca (NASDAQ:AZN)
AZN.L and Oxford University's COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use, widening
access to the relatively inexpensive shot in the developing world. * DUNELM: Homewares retailer Dunelm Group DNLM.L on Monday said its
founder and largest shareholder Will Adderley plans to sell 15 million shares in
the company, representing about 7.4% of its issued share capital. * PLATINUM: Platinum prices soared to their highest in nearly 6-1/2 years,
fuelled by expectations a rebound in the global economy would stoke demand for
the metal used in autocatalysts. * OIL: Oil prices rose as a cold front shut wells and refineries in Texas,
the biggest crude producing state in the United States, the world's biggest oil
producer. * The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed 2.5% higher on Monday as mining and
energy stocks tracked strong gains in commodity prices and investors were
hopeful global vaccine rollouts would quicken the economic recovery this year.
