Investing.com -- Stocks were wobbling on Monday as investors prepared for the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision later this week and a bunch of earnings reports from big tech companies.

On deck this week are reports from Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Microsoft, and Alphabet to name a few, amid a hiring slowdown in tech as big companies prepare for an economic slowdown.

The Fed is expected to raise its benchmark rate another 0.75 percentage point when it announces its decision on Wednesday. The central bank is trying to tame inflation, which has been running at 40-year highs, but some are concerned it may overshoot the mark and tip the economy into a recession. A small number of analysts expect the Fed might even raise rates at a more aggressive full-percentage point pace this month.

Later this week, the preliminary reading on the second quarter gross domestic product will be revealed, and economists are watching to see if it shows the second-consecutive quarterly contraction, which many see as a sign that a recession has arrived.

Here are three things that could affect markets tomorrow:

1. Microsoft earnings

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is seen reporting earnings of $2.29 a share on revenue of $52.4 billion.

2. Alphabet earnings

Google parent Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) is seen reporting earnings of $1.28 a share on revenue of $70 billion.

3. Visa earnings

Credit card company Visa (NYSE:V) is seen reporting EPS of $1.74 on revenue of $7.1 billion.
