Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading slightly lower during Monday's evening deals, following a mixed session among major benchmark averages as the Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 each snapped four consecutive sessions of decline ahead of the closely watched Jackson Hole Symposium later in the week.
By 18:35 ET (22:35 GMT), Dow Jones futures and S&P 500 futures dipped 0.1% apiece while Nasdaq 100 futures lost 0.2%.
In extended deals, Zoom Video Communications Inc (NASDAQ:ZM) added 4% after the company reported Q2 EPS of $1.34 versus $1.06 expected on revenues of $1.14 billion versus $1.11B expected. The company forecasted Q3 2024 EPS in the range of $1.07-$1.09 versus $1.03 expected, with revenues predicted in the range of $1.115B-1.12B versus $1.13B expected.
Nordson Corp (NASDAQ:NDSN) dipped 5.1% after the company reported Q3 EPS of $2.35 versus $2.32 expected while revenue was reported at $649 million versus $664.94M expected.
Fabrinet (NYSE:FN) popped 16.9%, reporting Q4 EPS of $1.86 versus $1.80 expected. Revenue came in at $655.9M versus $641.43M expected.
Ahead in Tuesday's trade, investors will be monitoring existing home sales data and a speech from FOMC member Bowman.
Among earnings, companies including Lowe’s Companies Inc (NYSE:LOW), Medtronic PLC (NYSE:MDT), Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc (NYSE:DKS), and BJs Wholesale Club Holdings Inc (NYSE:BJ) are scheduled to report quarterly results.

During Monday's regular session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 37 points or 0.1% to 34,463.7, the S&P 500 added 30 points or 0.7% to 4,399.8, and the Nasdaq Composite lifted 206.8 points or 1.6% to 13,497.6.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at fresh 16-year highs of 4.342%.
