MANILA, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Philippine annual inflation was
2.5% in December, picking up from the previous month's 1.3%
rate, the statistics agency said on Tuesday.
Last month's inflation figure, which was above the 2.1%
forecast in a Reuters poll, brought the full-year inflation rate
to 2.5%, but still within the central bank's 2%-4% target for
the 2019.
