Cuban recently posted on X, informing Google and its CEO, Sundar Pichai, about a call from a supposed Google staff member telling him someone had hacked his Gmail, leading to him spoofing Google’s recovery methods.
Cuban provided a few details about the hacker’s identity, including his name, Noah, and the phone number he used to place the call. The renowned billionaire used the opportunity to alert the public about the incident, highlighting that any mail for that account after 3:30 pm on June 22 did not originate from him.
Notably, Cuban reported his Gmail happened barely 24 hours after Coin Edition reported about taking over 50 Cent’s X account in a crypto pump-and-dump scheme. In their pattern, the hackers take over prominent personalities’ social media or network accounts and use them to exploit unsuspecting victims.
