One of the victims was the Gigantic-Cassocked-Rebirth (GCR) account, which belongs to a known crypto investor who profits from contrarian trades. The GCR account has 247,000 followers on X. The account confirmed it had been hacked when the hackers posted content promoting ORDI and Luna 2.0.
The prices for both promoted tokens briefly surged, a sign that the hacker was successful. For ORDI, the price rose by 6%, while Luna 2.0 saw a whopping increase of up to 274%. However, many crypto analysts have stated that this move led to limited gains, as the hacker chose to post two tokens instead of shilling microcap coins.
