VanEck FTSE Global Infrastructure (Hedged) ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by VanEck Investments Limited. The fund is managed by Van Eck Associates Corporation. It invests in the public equity markets of developed countries across the globe. The fund invests directly and also uses derivatives such as forward contracts to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the infrastructure sector, which include transportation, energy, and telecommunications sectors. It invests in the stocks of companies across all market capitalizations, the returns being hedged to Australian Dollars. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE Developed Core Infrastructure 50/50 Hedged into Australian Dollars Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index.
