After-Hours Stock Movers:
Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG) climbed 3% after it said comparable restaurant sales increased 11.1% in the second quarter. The fast casual Mexican restaurant chain also reported strong quarterly profits.
Ford Motor (NYSE:F) slumped 12% after publishing second quarter EPS and revenue that disappointed Wall Street.
Edwards Lifesciencess (NYSE:EW) fell 13% after it reported revenue for the second quarter that was below consensus estimates. It also issued lackluster guidance.
Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS) declined 2% after reporting disappointing second quarter results, with notable softness on the top line.
IBM (NYSE:IBM) rose 2.4% after easily beating consensus estimates for the second quarter. Management said clients are turning to IBM for its technology and expertise in enterprise AI, and its book of business for generative AI has grown to more than two billion dollars.
ServiceNow (NYSE:NOW) rose 5% after it announced strong second quarter results and raised its guidance for full year subscription revenues.
Align (NASDAQ:ALGN) Technology (ALGN) fell 10% after lowering its outlook for full year revenue growth, due in part to lower Clear Aligner ASPs.
Viking Therapeutics (NASDAQ:VKTX) rose 10% after it said it plans to advance VK2735 into a Phase 3 program for obesity.
