MANILA, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Philippine exports grew at the
fastest pace in 10 months in November while imports contracted
the most since August to yield the smallest trade deficit in
five months, government data showed on Friday.
Exports in November rose 3.0% from a year earlier to $5.8
billion from PHEXP=ECI , while imports declined 18.9% to $7.5
billion PHIMP=ECI . The trade deficit was $1.73 billion
PHTBAL=ECI , the statistics agency said.
