MANILA, March 23 (Reuters) - The Philippine central bank
said on Monday it approved a 300 billion pesos ($5.84 billion)
programme to support the government's fight against the
coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement, the central bank said it would buy
government securities to help the government's projects to
counter the impact of the virus, which has killed 33 people and
infected 396 in the country.
