iShares Nikkei 225 UCITS ETF (DE) is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG. The fund invests in the public equity markets of Japan. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Nikkei 225 Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares Nikkei 225 (DE). iShares Nikkei 225 UCITS ETF (DE) was formed on July 5, 2006 and is domiciled in Germany.
