Xtrackers - MSCI World Swap UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Deutsche Asset Management S.A. It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of developed countries across the globe. It uses derivatives such as swap agreements to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Total Return Net World Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. The fund was formerly known as db x-trackers - MSCI World Index UCITS ETF. Xtrackers - MSCI World Swap UCITS ETF was formed on December 19, 2006 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
