Biography Cutler, Managing Director, joined TIAA in 1997 and has been manager since December 2002. He is the lead portfolio manager and is also a managing director. He is in charge of portfolio management for domestic large-cap value portfolios. As an equity analyst at the firm, he covered Asia and technology.
Athanasios (Tom) Kolefas Managing Director 2004 2018
Biography Kolefas is a managing director and portfolio manager at Teachers Advisors, LLC. He joined the firm in 2004. Previously, he was a portfolio manager with Jennison Associates and a senior portfolio manager with Loomis, Sayles & Company. Prior to that, he was with MacKay-Shields Financial Corporation from January 1991 to 1996. He also spent four years as a research analyst at the Bank of New York and five years as an analyst at the Engelhard Corporation. Kolefas holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
