He was appointed to this position upon joining Schroders in October 2004.As Head of the Emerging Market Equities team, Allan has an oversight role for all nine strategies managed by the Emerging Market Equities team. Leila was also responsible for all dedicated Emerging European portfolios (Guernsey, Luxembourg, outsourced listed funds and segregated accounts). Prior to joining Schroders Investment Management, Leila participated in internships at Johnson Fry Securities (1994) and Groupe Banque Indosuez, Paris (1994). Leila has a BA Honours (First Class) in French, Philosophy and History of Art from University of Bristol (1991-1995).
