Prior to joining Schroders, he was employed at Fleming Investment Management for nine years, the last five of which he served as head of their Emerging Europe Group.

Biography	Sharat joined Charlemagne Capital in 2007 after five years working at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant in strategy, finance and M&A. At Charlemagne, Sharat focuses on Africa and the Middle East and has been the lead portfolio advisor for the Magna Africa Fund since June 2009, having assisted the previous lead advisor since the launch of the Fund. Sharat has an MA in Economics and Management from Oxford University and has been a CFA charterholder since 2006.
