Prior to that, she was in the institutional fixed-income department at State Street Global Advisors where she was responsible for strategy and management of all tax-exempt portfolios. She has been dedicated to this asset class for more than 30 years. In addition, she worked at Tucker, Anthony & R.L. Day. She has been a member of the investment community since 1984. Ms. Vargo received a B.S. from Boston University.
