Stephen has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, and was awarded the CFA designation in 1993.

Biography Richard Rooney has been with Burgundy since 1995. As CIO, he oversees all investment activities. He also has responsibilities as Portfolio Manager. Richard began his career as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse. He left the practice in 1984 to join Sun Life as an Investment Analyst and subsequently joined AMI Partners in 1989. Richard received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. In 2009, he was honoured by his peers and received the designation of Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
