Biography | James Maydew is based in AMP Capital’s Sydney office and is primarily responsible for the analysis of the Australian real estate investment trust market. In addition, he also covers US and Brazilian malls. Mr Maydew has worked in the financial industry since 2002. Before focusing on listed real estate, Mr Maydew worked within AMP Capital’s Shopping Centre division as a real estate analyst undertaking financial modelling of AMP Capital’s shopping centre portfolio. Mr Maydew joined AMP Capital in April 2006, before which he was an investment broker at Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate consultancy firm in London, sourcing and transacting direct real estate investments and portfolios on behalf of institutional clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Investment and Finance from the University of Reading and is a fully qualified and accredited member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. | ||

Biography | Matthew Hoult, CIO Global Property, Fortis Investments. Matt has been a key member of the property team since 2005. He is currently head of the Asia region and assumed the role of CIO of Global Property Dec-08. He has over 10 years experience of investing in listed securities, from London, Sydney and Singapore. He joined Fortis (and its predecessors/affiliates) as an Australian Equity Investment Analyst in Mar-04. Matt has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology-Sydney and has completed the Securities Institute of Australia Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. |
