Biography Craig Simpson, who has more than 15 years experience in the investment industry, joined M&G in 2004 as a portfolio manager. In February 2015, he was appointed Head of Portfolio Management for the Multi Asset team and has been co-deputy manager of the Global Target Return strategy since December 2016 and co-manager of the Episode Growth strategy since December 2019. Before joining M&G, Craig was a trainee fund manager at Equitable Life Assurance and an analyst at Pictet Asset Management. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in land economics.

Biography Eric Lonergan joined M&G in 2006 as a member of the Multi Asset team and is co-manager of the Episode Macro and the Episode Growth strategies, as well as deputy manager of the Global Target Return strategy. Prior to joining M&G, Eric was managing director and head of macro research at JP Morgan Cazenove. He has a BA in politics, philosophy and economics from Pembroke College, Oxford, and an MSc in economics from the London School of Economics. Eric is the author of “Money”, first published in 2009, and the co-author of “Angrynomics”, published in 2020.

Biography Jenny Rodgers joined Prudential Portfolio Managers (now M&G) in 1994, initially analysing European equity markets and acting as a portfolio manager for external clients. She has been part of what is today the Macro & Multi Asset team since it was established in 1999. In January 2011, Jenny was appointed co-fund manager of the M&G Episode Growth Fund, and in September 2016 took over the management of one of M&G’s charity funds, the National Association of Almshouses Common Investment Fund. Jenny is a CFA charterholder and has a BA Honours in Economics from Exeter University.
Juan Nevado - 2011 2014
Biography Juan Nevado joined PPM (now M&G) in 1988 and is a member of the M&G Multi Asset team, with more than 20 years of investment experience. In January 2011, Juan was appointed co-manager of the M&G Dynamic Allocation and the M&G Episode Allocation strategies. In April 2015, he was appointed co-manager of the M&G Conservative Allocation strategy (then named Prudent Allocation) on its launch. Prior to joining M&G, Juan worked as a bond economist at the Bank of Montreal, and before that, as an economist for the Commodities Research Unit, a private business consultancy specialising in macro/micro research on commodities markets. Juan has a BSc in economics from the LSE and an MA in economics from Warwick University.
