Biography John Tsai joined Eastspring in October 2016. He is part of the Equity team and is the Team Leader of the Greater China Equity focus team. He is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Hong Kong, Greater China, and China equity strategies. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.  He also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Lauder Institute with an MBA from the Wharton School and a Master of Arts degree from the School of Arts and Sciences.

He was with CLSA in a similar role and commenced his career with BHP Billiton in China. In all, Xiao has over 10 years of investment experience in China. Xiao holds a Masters degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science. He also has a Bachelors degree from Nankai University in China.
