| Biography | Khiem is responsible for the management of a number of specific Asian portfolios, and all Multi Asset portfolios for clients located in Asia. Khiem received his B.A. in Economics (Hons.) from Macquarie University (Australia). Alongside his investment role, he worked for seven years developing the company's Canadian client base in which he continues to take an active interest. In 1997, Tom assumed the additional responsibility for the global investments of the company's Japanese and Pacific clients and now heads the Japanese and Pacific Investment Management Teams. Tom joined Baring Asset Management in 1982 to work in the Hong Kong and Tokyo offices, where he specialized in Japanese, Pacific and Australian investments.
