iShares Core Composite Bond ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Investment Management (Australia) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Australia. It invests in Australian Dollar denominated, fixed-rate securities issued by government, semi-government entities, supranational and sovereign entities, and corporate entities with maturities of less than 50 years. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as between AAA and BBB by S&P. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg AusBond Composite Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares Composite Bond ETF. iShares Core Composite Bond ETF was formed on March 12, 2012 and is domiciled in Australia.
