LONDON, June 1 (Reuters) - Emerging-market central banks
continue to slash interest rates in May as policymakers try to
shore up their economies in the face of the coronavirus
pandemic.
Interest rate moves by central banks across a group of 37
developing economies showed a net 16 cuts in May after a net 15
reductions in April.
May marked the 16th straight month of net cuts - the longest
easing cycle for emerging-market central banks since 2013.
