It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. The fund invests in the currency markets of G10 countries. It takes long and short positions and uses derivatives such as swaps agreement and forwards to track the G10 currencies relative to the US Dollar. The fund takes long positions on three G10 currencies having the highest 3-month interest rates and short positions on three G10 currencies having the lowest 3-month interest rates. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Deutsche Bank Carry (EUR) Index, by using synthetic replication methodology. The fund was formerly known as db x-trackers - Currency Carry ETF. db x-trackers - Currency Carry UCITS ETF was formed on October 19, 2007 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
