It also operates service stations, including forecourts, quick-service restaurants, and locators; and provides insurance services. The company sells its products through a network of approximately 2,000 service stations; LPG dealerships; and lube outlets. It serves households and commercial consumers, mini-stations, power plants, and various industrial customers, as well as motorists and public transport operators, manufacturing, plantation, transportation, and construction sectors. Petron Corporation also exports its products to the Asia-Pacific countries. The company was formerly known as Petrophil Corporation and changed its name to Petron Corporation in February 1988. Petron Corporation was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Mandaluyong, the Philippines. Petron Corporation is a subsidiary of SEA Refinery Corporation.
