Mekophar Chemical Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company was formerly known as Central Pharmaceutical Factory No 24 – MEKOPHAR and changed its name to Mekophar Chemical Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in 2001. The company was founded in 1975 and is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam along with branches in Hanoi, Nghe An, Da Nang, and Can Tho.
