iPeople, inc., together with its subsidiaries, provides education services in the Philippines. The company operates Mapúa University, an engineering and technological university; Malayan Colleges Laguna that offers programs in engineering and architecture, allied health science, accountancy, business, communication, computer science, information technology, maritime education, multimedia arts, and tourism management located in Cabuyao, Laguna; Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, a school situated in Davao and Mindanao; and Malayan High School of Science, a junior high school that provides education in the area of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics located in Manila. It also operates the National Teachers College, a higher education institution that offers collegiate programs for teacher education; University of Nueva Caceres, which provide education programs in arts and sciences, business and administration, education, computer studies, engineering, nursing, criminal justice, juris doctor, doctorate, and master’s degree programs; and Affordable Private Education Center schools that provides private education for K-12 program. The company was formerly known as Petrofields Exploration and Development Co., Inc. and changed its name to iPeople, inc. in December 1999. iPeople, inc. was incorporated in 1989 and is headquartered in Makati City, the Philippines.
